June 6th

Today a friend and I went to see the movie Bride Wars while our boys were in the next theater watching Monsters vs. Aliens with their nannys (one of the perks of living in Honduras).

The movie was about two girls who had been best friends their whole live and dreamed of their wedding day. They both dreamed of getting married in June at the Plaza Hotel in New York. As you can imagine, in the movie they both get engaged and the whole movie is about how they fight over the only opening at the Plaza Hotel on June 6th.

At the end of the movie my friend made a comment about being married on June 6th. I then informed her that I thought it was a great day to get married and that was my wedding date. Then she tells me that was her wedding date as well (not to mention we were married the same year).

We laughed so hard it brought tears to our eyes. Luckily we were the only ones in the theater because we were making quite a scene. But how fun was that, watching a movie about two girls getting married on June 6th and two girls watching it who were married on June 6th!
