Reid has been begging me to spend the night at someone's house. As you know, the firstborn always has to wait for things to happen until we know for sure it completely o.k. As for the other kids I am sure the sleepover will come sooner than 6 1/2 years old. It had the be the perfect family for Reid to be able to stay with them. For us, Elizabeth was it. She is the youngest of 4 kids and the only girl. So playing with boys is something she is used to. She is calm, lives 5 minutes away, goes to bed early, and wakes up at about 6:30 a.m. This would have never of worked with an Argentine classmate, they go to bed around 11:00 p.m. and wake up around 10:00 a.m.! Those of you who know Reid, he can't keep those hours. I asked Elizabeth the next day how the sleepover went. She told me she woke up every hour to check on him, and she even put the blanket back on him in the night. Too bad Elizabeth is moving back to Canada this summer, we will miss her!
