In my previous postings I had mentioned that Graham's recovery since removing the cast was going a little slower than expected. After four weeks of physical therapy and observation it is time to get more information about what is going on with his ankle, the broken tibia seems to be fine. We are guessing that there was some trauma to the ankle at the same time, but was missed. There were no indications that we should have been looking at the ankle at the time of the accident, but that is what is giving him problems. He walks with a slight limp, runs with a little skip, and favors the right leg.
We have been approved for a medivac, which is a paid trip back to Miami. They will also set up all the appointments needed. This will most likely happen at the end of this week or the beginning of next week. I will keep you posted as to what they find out.
