Prayer in school

Today in school I witnessed something that I don't think I have ever seen before in my teaching career. A prayer was said during our morning assembly which included the entire elementary staff and students. Unfortunately a Honduran teacher from the school where I am teaching was kidnapped on Friday as she was coming out of mass before heading off to school. She has not been released yet. The reason for the kidnapping is for money, her father is a share holder in one of the large banks here. I am glad to know the administration is not afraid to do the right thing and pray for this woman and her family.
